Upsammy を擁するアムステルダムのエレクトロニック・ミュージック・レーベル topo2 より、ニューヨークのサウンドデザイナー Urner によるアルバム "Afterimages" がリリースされました。カンカン石の呼び名で親しみのある主に香川県で産出される溶岩サヌカイト製の石琴、VGM のサウンドフォント、モジュラー・シンセ、そして作家自身の声を融合させ、流動的で触覚的な音の世界を紡ぎ出す冒険心溢れるアンビエント作品です。
The LP is released by adventurous electronic music label topo2 on April 3, 2026. The record is pressed on 180 grams of ICCS-certified bio-vinyl and housed in a heavy full-colour sleeve. Mastering is done by Ike Zwanikken and artwork by Rohan Chaurasia. The record sleeve features digitally composed glyphs, UV-printed onto a handmade pulp tablet. Its layout and typography draw from archeological archive websites encountered during the design process. The digital artifacts of the glyphs interact with the material surface, transforming pixelation into organic textures.
